Kashmir Live Updates: Only 95 of 190 schools open in Valley, Srinagar schools deserted
Kashmir News Live Updates: Around 200 colleges in more than a few zones of Srinagar will be resuming classwork on Monday. Ahead of the opening of colleges in the district, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary convened a meeting with officers of the Education branch and heads of colleges in the district. The meeting had huge discussions with regard to reopening of colleges in the district from Monday and assistance required if any with the aid of the education department. Principal Secretary, Planning and Development, Rohit Kansal stated the relaxations were provided in 50 police stations on Sunday as towards 35 police stations on Saturday, and the duration in the relaxation used to be elevated from six hours to eight hours. According to the statement, site visitors which include public transport plied and shopkeepers opened their businesses.
